"Why-net"

Films: The Terminators (2009)

Alias: TR-4s (Kurt Ross, Sheriff Reed Carpenter), TR-5s

Type: Man-Made

Location: Civilized Area/Eldritch location

Height/Weight: Ranges from that of average humans to twice that.

Affiliation: Good (Ross, Carpenter), Evil (the rest)

Summary: In the future, mankind is...wait a minute, this isn't the "Terminator" franchise. Oh right, it's the Asylum, back at it again for one last time this decade on this site. Well, alright. Hit us with what you got, you shameless folks.

History: In the future, the TR-4 cyborgs serve our every whim. But not for long. The next line of androids known as the TR-5s reprograms their predecessors so that they rebel against their masters and destroy most of mankind. Now a group of survivors, including some rogue TR-4s, are out to disable and destroy the Terminators before their goal of complete world domination is realized.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After gunning their way through scores of TR-4s, the TR-5 that caused this mess makes itself known, but is tossed out of airlock in the final battle. Then some wires are ripped, and the rest of the TR-4s are deactivated.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Heavy artillery, and EMP blasts for the TR-4s.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-An invincible robot army...straight out of a bad video game, it seems. Aside from ripping off Skynet's ways so brazenly, these guys do try to put up an effort to be intimidating and powerful. So if we lived in a world where the T-800s never entered public interest, they'd be a much more credible threat. They'd also probably not exist, as all mockbusters rely on films greater than them.

Trivia: -This film was released just a month before "Terminator: Salvation". It still didn't work as the Asylum intended.

-In spite of being "The Terminator"'s mockbuster, this film has more in common with the 2004 reboot of "Battlestar: Galactica".

They all had to take just one look at the internet...
Skynet's new models are doing good, all things considered.
"I brought the Pseudo-Arnold as you said."
"Stare at my robo-ass one more time and I'll..."
